Regina boasted a total of three stations. The first was built in the late 1800s by the Qu'Appelle, Long Lake and Saskatchewan Railroad and Steamboat Company, leased to the CPR in 1889. It was replaced with a more sturdy structure around 1897. That station lasted until 1911 when it was replaced by the current building, which by then was a Union Station. The former station has historical designation and presently operates as a casino.
The date for the National Archives photo is unknown. It appears as 1928 on their website, which is clearly incorrect.
