At one time there were thousands of railway stations and stops across Canada. They included everything from grandiose architectural edifices to humble little flag stops and sign posts nestled in the woods alongside the tracks.

Very few of these stations still exist.

Canada-Rail features a combination of photos and slide shows showing railway stations as they once were.

Note to ALL users

If you find the pages are stuck on "LOADING" clear your history and access the page directly using the menu from the site. The slideshow script was changed last year and the old script is stuck in Google's cache. This is a search engine problem, not a site problem.
