The city of Cambridge was created in 1973 with the merger of Galt, Hespeler and Preston. The former Galt CPR station remains in use by the railway.

Steve Headford is the owner of a large collection of railway-related negatives dating back to the 1950s. These include stations, other buildings and rolling stock. If you're interested in purchasing any photos from Steve, visit his Ebay store at http://stores.ebay.ca/steamengines2go
