The station was built in 1904 by the Intercolonial Railway. Before that a railway wagon, located next to the tracks, served as the station. The community was originally named Kempt. The name was changed around 1916. The station closed around 1975 and stood until 1984. A big merci to the people at the Comité du Patrimoine de Padoue for the additional information and photos.
