Maynooth Station was built by the Central Ontario Railway in 1907. It was later acquired by the Canadian Northern Railway, followed by Canadian National. CN abandoned the line in 1984. A committee is now in place to try and save and rehabilitate the station. The station is historically significant. It's one of the few stations to be built out of pored concrete. Also hotel accommodations were available on the second floor. Learn more
