The Sicamous chateau-style hotel and station was built in 1897, replacing an earlier station that was destroyed by fire. The hotel was enlarged to double its size in 1910. The 75-room hotel closed in 1957, followed by the station in 1964. The building was demolished shortly after that and replaced with a simple structure that no longer stands.
